What read only means for Dex.
Dex inspects the agreed configuration and evidence to produce findings. It cannot change settings, edit customer data, remove resources or request write permissions. It does not make changes after approval.
You receive the account, app or service involved, the evidence, why it matters and the next steps. You decide how your team will act.
Agree the scope before connecting.
We agree the systems and checks with you before you start, along with the read only access required for that scope. Microsoft 365 and Azure are supported today; broader coverage is planned.
Keep your IT person involved in reviewing permissions and deciding which recommended changes are appropriate for your business.
A review with a clear handover.
Dex handles recurring checks, findings, action plans and follow-up within the agreed scope. Your team or provider handles day-to-day support, fixes and incidents.
The review approach is designed to examine evidence from different angles and cross-check recommendations. Each finding should explain its evidence and next step. A review is not a guarantee that every issue will be found.
